Easter Weekend

We had a very busy but very fun Easter Weekend. We went to Howell to be with my family Easter is a big deal we always celebrate it together. We had a great time we always do :) We also started a little moving into my brothers house we are renting for the summer... good things are happening here is the weekend in pictures there are lots but its a weekend in pictures so it's okay... enjoy!

Our cousin Gentry opening his mission call to Birmingham Alabama WOOO HOO! What a blessing it was to be there as a family to hear his call we are so blessed!

Happenings

A MONTH... a whole month since I updated the blog! So much has happened so in a nutshell here are our past month of happenings not necessarily in order...
* After Moab & Graysons Blessing we headed to Idaho for the weekend to watch Rays little brother Brodie be the lead in the play the Music man he did AWESOME!
* Grayson got so sick and ended up getting RSV and we were in the doctors office 3 times in 8 days... they did one nebulizer treatment and a deep suction of his nose and luckily we caught it in enough time he didn't have to be in the hospital. We stayed in for a week and he is doing much much better. Poor little baby!
* My sweet Aunt Kay passed away :(
* Grayson started sleeping all through the night till 7AM HES GOLDEN!!!!
*The took the rental house we are living in off the market HUGE BLESSING we get to stay for another year I LOVE IT HERE I wish we never had to move :)
* I am no longer working LONG STORY but a HUGE BLESSING! I love being a Mom!
* Grayson started smiling
* He Loves to sit up and he loves to talk he is pretty much the best baby ever!
* School is over in 2 weeks and we can't wait!
* I finally finished Blazes scrapbook... only 2 years later I sure miss that little boy! His 2nd birthday is in a few weeks.
* Ray just went to Laramie WY for his Chem E car team they took 3rd place and will go to nationals in Minneapolis in the fall. He's so smart!
* Ray starts P&G on May 9th and we'll be back and forth living mostly in Howell for the summer :)

Overflowing Heart

We have been very busy in the King household. This weekend we went to Moab for the 2nd annual 1/2 marathon for Blaze. This year we were joined by Rays Brother Tristan and Tryel our darling S.I.L. Elena and our Uncle Lance. What an inspiration they all are to me! I wasn't able to run obviously with a new little baby there was no time to train but I was so grateful for each of them as they crossed the finish line in honor of our little angel. Grandpa King & Grayson at the condo in Moab just relaxing so sweet! We hiked to Delicate Arch on of the most BEAUTIFUL things I've ever seen and this was our 2nd time seeing it. Grayson was such a good baby he slept the whole way and was a little lightweight. Tyrel & Elena finishing the last stretch with their boys AMAZING! We had Grayson blessed on Sunday March 20th it was a beautiful blessing given by Ray. We had lots of family come to support us we are so LOVED! Aunt Ash loving Grayson before his blessing. Isn't she BEAUTIFUL? Our little family :)

Last but not least JL the salesman rounded up a man in Castle Dale Utah to let him and Ray go hunt some hogs. They went on Monday morning and had these beauties within an hour. Ray got his with his bow and JL got his with his gun. They had a great time and now we'll have a freezer full of meat. Thanks J for being such a great hunting buddy for my hubby! I love my Boys! What a good Daddy & an adorable baby who loves to cuddle This was my 'I love my life Moment' for today while I was doing homework they were napping it up so sweet!

Disbelief

ADORABLE RIGHT! WE THINK SO! LOVE THIS LITTLE BOY!
We are relaxing at home (same as every night) and I am just watching my little boy sleep I still can't believe he is here and he is so perfect. Just this last week the reality that we have our baby is finally sinking in. I am so in love and just beginning to realize what it means to be a Mom. He is absolutely perfect and I keep thinking I will wake up from this dream and and life will resume as it was before but luckily for me this dream is now our life! Tomorrow he will be 3 weeks old ahhhh! We're grateful he's here last week he weighed in at 6lbs 15 oz he is growing so fast!
side note the darling blanket is from a darling little girl in our ward Analesia she made it for him all by herself (she's 11) she is the sweetest thing We Love her!

Mommy Mistakes...

Okay so my first week as a Mom would be explained like this... unprepared!

to sum up the story... we went to the hunting show (at one week old his Daddy wants to start him early) He had a major blow out and I only had one set of clothes... the ones he was wearing. So poor little boy had to be covered in blankets and ride home in just his huggie... wrapped in blankets... Way to go Mom! We now have an extra set of clothes in the diaper bag not to repeat such a mistake.

Current feelings as a Mom
Absolute Love I LOVE THIS LITTLE BOY!
Exhaustion I have actually felt awesome until about 4 days ago and I am so tired...
Worrying like never before... is someone going to take my baby, is he sick, he feels hot, is he getting enough to eat... etc
I should get ready... its noon
Get up before 9 AM how???
Get out of the house before noon and be ready HOW?

My in-laws came to stay for a few days to help THANK YOU, My sister came for the weekend and now my Mom is here to help we have one loved little boy and feel so blessed to have him here! Thank You everyone for meals and flowers and calls to check in on us!

On a side note... people keep saying I hold him too much and am spoliing him rotten... well I've come to the conclusion that I get to. I know what it feels like to have a baby and not get to have him to hold and to kiss and to watch every minute so that is how I will currently spend my days holding and loving and not missing a minute because I'm his Mom and I want him to know just how much we love having him here.
