2008 in Review

Ok so I know I am WAY behind an honestly I check other blogs daily for updates you would think I could be a little better about updating ours so here is an update and a resolution to be a little better at blogging :)

We had a rollercoaster 2008 but have been SO BLESSED here is our year in review.

• I learned to snowboard last new years eve with Ray, Ash, Mike, and Niki at Wolf Mountain what a great way to start the year I LOVED it!!


• We went on a Cruise on Royal Carribean with Ash and Mike, Jon and Kelli in May and we had a BLAST in Mexico.


• We sold our Mazda :( but are nearly debt free... just one more car and we are debt free. Sad but worth it not to owe anyone money


• Ray has been going to the U and is starting his Junior Year in Chemical Engineering and we can't wait till he's done :)


• We recieved a letter in August from the First Presidency saying we could be sealed (one of the greatest spiritual moments in my life was opening the letter signed by the Prophet)


• We were sealed in the Bountiful Temple on October 3rd YAY!!! (another one of the greatest spiritual moments in my life) Thank You to all of our family and friends who came and supported us WE LOVE YOU!!


• Mom and Dad Mac came all the way from Canada to be here for our sealing our lives are SO BLESSED!


• Ray lost his Job in November but now works for UPS and they pay for school and work arround his schedule it all worked out well.


• We have played Trains (aka Ticket to Ride) more times than we could ever count and LOVE Marshall and Stephanie for introducing it to us and always playing with us.


• We went Deer and Elk hunting thanks to JL my husband has a hunting buddie and I get to spend time with Shells.


• We spent Christmas Eve with Ash and Mike, got snowed in on Christmas day and had a ball playing games and Rock Band with my family.

These are just a few of the highlights there are many many more. We have had trials but the blessings have far out weighed the hard times. Thank You everyone for sharing our year with us we are excited to have even more exciting things in the new year :)
